THE WAY WE BUILD
Base, materials, and finishing work. The parts of a build you can't see are the parts that decide how long it lasts.

Section One
WHAT'S UNDER THE SURFACE
Most failures in a patio, wall, or turf install were never visible once the job was done. The base is the work. Everything above it is finish.
Base prep
We excavate to the depth the material needs, not the depth that saves a step. Organic material comes out, and the subgrade is graded to the slope the finished surface has to hold.
Compaction
Base goes in lifts and is compacted between them. One thick layer run over with a plate compactor leaves loose material underneath that settles later.
Drainage
Water gets a path off the patio and away from the house. Where a yard won't drain on its own, we build the slope or the drain in rather than paving over the problem.
No shortcuts
No pavers set on dirt. No base run in a single pass. No wall footing poured short because the wall looks small above grade.

Section Two
REAL MATERIALS ONLY
Stone, brick, and steel. Materials that weather instead of deteriorating, and that can be repaired later with more of the same.
Texas limestone
Cut and stacked stone for walls, benches, and borders. Full-depth pieces that carry their own weight.
Clay brick
Fired clay brick for edging, borders, and bench bodies. Solid units, not a half-inch face.
Natural stone
Flagstone, chopped stone, and boulders. Real quarried material, with the weight and variation that comes with it.
Steel edging
Powder-coated steel edging pinned along turf and gravel. It holds the line when a mower runs beside it.
No veneer. If it looks like stone but is a thin face glued to a block, it isn't going anywhere a hand will touch it or weather will reach it.

Section Three
BRICK BENCHES
A brick bench is a masonry structure. Built right, it sits in the patio the way a wall sits in the grade. Built wrong, it cracks at the first freeze or washes out at the foot.
- Hand-laid. Brick goes down one course at a time, level and plumb, with the bond pattern set before the first unit is placed.
- Mortared. Full mortar joints between every course. The bench cures as one mass instead of a stack of loose brick.
- Sealed. Sealer goes on after the mortar has cured, so the brick and the joints take the same finish.
- Built in. Set into the patio or the wall it sits against, sharing the same base and the same edge line. Not a freestanding box dropped on top.
- Sized to the space. Length and seat height are set by the patio, the wall, and how the space is used, not by a standard kit size.
Section Four
THE SAME STANDARD ON EVERY BUILD
Retaining walls, paver patios, turf, and putting greens are built to one spec. The material changes. The base, the drainage, and the finish work do not.
Retaining walls
Footing set below grade, drainage stone and a drain behind the wall, and the wall leaning slightly into the slope it holds.
Paver patios
Compacted base, edge restraint on every open side, and joints filled and finished with the surface, not smeared across it.
Artificial turf
Excavated, graded for water, base compacted, seams nailed, and every cut made against a hard edge.
Putting greens
Built in layers with the contours shaped into the base, cups set true, and the turf cut to the breaks in the surface.
Section Five
FINISHING DETAILS
The last day decides how a job reads. Edges, joints, and a clean site are part of the build, not a courtesy at the end of it.
Crisp edges
Turf, gravel, and pavers meet a hard edge. The line is straight the day we leave and it stays that way through a season of weather.
Clean joints
Joints are filled, tooled, and struck. No mortar smeared over the face of the stone to be scrubbed off later.
Sealed surfaces
Stone and pavers are sealed where the material calls for it, after the surface has cured and been cleaned.
Jobsite left clean
The site is swept, the excess material hauled off, and the pallets and cut-offs go with us. Not stacked behind the fence.

Section Six
WHO DOES THE WORK
Licensed and insured
Work is performed by an insured crew, with the paperwork available on request.
Locally owned DFW crew
Based in the metroplex and building here full time. Not a franchise, not a lead broker.
Decades of combined experience
The crew has been setting stone, laying pavers, and building walls across North Texas for a long time together.
Real reviews
Customer reviews are published as they were written, with the city and the work attached.
